A former Nigerian Ambassador to Greece and Australia, Professor Olu Agbi, has died on Wednesday, October 10, 2018, after a brief illness.

According to a report by The Punch, the 73-year-old slumped in his house in Akure, Ondo State, and eventually died after he was rushed to a hospital.

The professor of history was the chairman of the Elders Forum of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State and participated as delegate at the party primary election held in Port Harcourt between October 6 and October 7.
