Coronavirus Update: Nigeria’s coronavirus patients rise to 40
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has publicly announced that there are four new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.
The NCDC via its official verified Twitter account on Monday, March 23, disclosed that three of the confirmed cases are from Lagos state while one is from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja increasing the total number of cases to 40.
The NCDC brought this to the public on the late hour of Monday, 23 March that “There are Four new cases of COVID19 virus in the Nigeria
Where three of the cases are in Lagos state and one in FCT” NCDC reported.
The Nigeria center for disease control (NCDC) also reported via its official twitter handle that 2 are returning travelers.
“As at 23:00PM on Monday, 23rd of March, there are 40 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria.
2 have been discharged with 1 death recorded”.
